The Exorcist is a missile tank used by the Adepta Sororitas. Most date from the earliest days of the Orders Militant and are venerated as sacred relics. They use ancient technology that the Adeptus Mechanicus barely understands, which makes them very difficult to replace.
The Exorcist is built on the Rhino chassis, like many Sororitas vehicles, and is named after its main weapon, the Exorcist missile launcher. The Prioris pattern has an ornate launcher that looks like a great pipe organ. The Sanctorum pattern uses a simpler launcher that resembles the Whirlwind's.
The Exorcist is the main long-range support vehicle of the Orders Militant, and alongside the Rhino it is one of their oldest vehicles. Some still in service date back to the early years of the Sororitas and are venerated as sacred relics, ancient beyond reckoning. There are two patterns: the original Prioris pattern from the forges of Mars, and the later Sanctorum pattern. Like the Immolator, it belongs to the Ecclesiarchy's own distinctive arsenal, and each one is hand-crafted and unique.
The Ecclesiarchy sees its war machines as tools of holy war, unsuitable for the Astra Militarum or for Space Marines who honour their primarchs. To the Sisterhood, the Exorcist's main purpose is to serve as a mobile shrine and a symbol of the Ecclesiarchy's power. Prioris-pattern Exorcists from Mars, the Forge World closest to Terra, are especially venerated as works of art. Each Exorcist is hand-crafted and unique, and many are hung with reliquaries and icons while laud hailers broadcast hymns.
Appearance & wargear
The Exorcist is a tank with a towering array of pipes on its rear deck, like the organ of a cathedral. It is decorated with sacred icons, statues and candles, and it usually carries a storm bolter.
The Exorcist is built on a Rhino chassis topped with an enormous pipe-organ-style missile launcher. It is decorated with stained glass, gilding, statues, purity seals and devotional script. Upgrades such as dozer blades, extra armour, laud hailers and holy icons are common.

Battlefield role & tactics
The Exorcist is a long-range fire support tank. It fires volleys of missiles to destroy enemy vehicles and monsters.
Its launcher fires armour-piercing missiles that can destroy enemy tanks or heavy infantry, and the number of missiles fired in each salvo is notoriously unpredictable. It sits back and provides precise long-range fire while the Sisters advance. Exorcists also serve as rallying points, since their hymns and imagery inspire nearby troops.
The Exorcist's missile launcher fires a variable number of shots, which makes it good against heavy infantry and armour. In battle the Sisters may group their Exorcists into a "chorus of faith" whose massed fire can bring down a Titan. They are vulnerable to fast attackers and need infantry screens.

Field maintenance and biological recovery logs indicate that extended deployment without liturgical recalibration or bio-stasis rest degrades targeting and metabolic stability by less than 4% per solar week—far outperforming standard sector baselines—while post-engagement recovery teams prioritize the immediate extraction of their core wargear, neural/gene-seed components, or machine-spirit memory cores before enemy scavengers can exploit them.
