Lore & origins

A Warpsmith is the dark mirror of a Loyalist Techmarine. Where the Adeptus Mechanicus worships the Machine Spirit through cautious ritual, a Warpsmith seeks to subjugate technology utterly, binding the raw stuff of the Immaterium into iron and ceramite. Forged primarily within the smog-choked daemon-foundries of Medrengard among the Iron Warriors and the Dark Mechanicum, Warpsmiths stride into battle surrounded by a writhing nest of mechatendrils that weld cracked hull plates mid-battle while cursing enemy tanks with scrapcode.

Appearance & wargear

Encased in soot-blackened artificer plate adorned with yellow-and-black hazard stripes, furnace-stacks, and half a dozen articulated mechatendrils tipped with melta-torches and plasma cutters, wielding a crackling power axe.
